My path into sound design didn't start in a studio, it started in nursing.

A shadowing session at a recording studio was the moment everything shifted. I left knowing I wanted to work in sound for a living.

I signed up for Manchester MIDI School to learn music composition.

From there, I tried to pick up as much experience as possible, unpaid work, runner roles on film sets and learning as much as I could.

In Motion Audio was born out of a desire for sound design in 2020.

Not only did sound design catch my passion, it opened the door to field recording, sample pack creation, and building Kontakt instruments, all driven by the same pull towards capturing and shaping sound.

I'm an independent sound designer specialising in compelling storytelling through the art of sound design.
